A few weeks ago Adam Copeland made his AEW debut at the WrestleDream pay-per-view and since then he’s been making regular appearances on AEW programming. Copeland is currently focused on Christian Cage, but there are a number of wrestlers on the roster who have history with the Rated R Superstar.
Edge & Christian have had some classic matches with The Hardys in the past and now that they’re all in the same company it’s possible that they could cross paths. During a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast Matt talked about the possibility of all four men working together while saying that he thinks a potential heel stable could work.
“Honestly, I would love to see, at some point, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Matt and Jeff Hardy all as heels. I would like to see that. I think there is something there that could work for AEW.”
Of course that would take some big changes when it comes to character work for Copeland, Matt and Jeff as they are all currently working as babyfaces. However, the idea is interesting to think about to say the least.
