For years now The Bloodline storyline has been the top angle in WWE, but things have changed drastically in recent months. The Bloodline imploded over the summer which led to Jey Uso branching out on his own as a singles star on Monday Night Raw while the rest of the group is still on SmackDown.
Fightful Select reports that around the time of SummerSlam they inquired as to whether or not there were any plans for Roman Reigns to lose the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, and several sources pointed to other members of The Bloodline as important building blocks.
It’s being said that those around The Bloodline angle were confident that it would be a launching pad to singles stardom for Jey Uso, and that seems to be going well so far. Jey Uso making the move to Monday Night Raw was part of that process which got the wheels in motion when it comes to long-term plans for the former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion.
As of right now Jey Uso is tentatively planned for a long term role that is expected to be heavily featured for the next two months. The plan is for Jey Uso to get a lot of screen time. It was also noted that WWE officials have been very happy with the reactions that Jey Uso has received.
