CM Punk may have successfully defended his Real AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at All In on Sunday, but it sounds like Punk’s weekend was less than smooth to say the least.

Haus of Wrestling reports that when CM Punk landed at Heathrow Airport on Saturday no one from AEW was there to greet him. According to the report there was no car service to bring Punk to his hotel, and when he texted the number he was given by AEW for the driver it bounced back.

CM Punk reportedly waited for a while then bought a train ticket and made his way to his hotel. The Tube was said to have been busy at the time, and Punk got lost, so some fans helped him figure out where he was going.

The Second City Saint had taping commitments in Atlanta on Wednesday and wanted to spend time with his wife and dog on Thursday. Punk headed out on Friday and landed in London on Saturday morning.

CM Punk has been making headlines recently as it was reported that he was involved in a physical altercation with Jack Perry prior to his match with Samoa Joe at All In. It’s been reported that the belief in AEW is that both CM Punk and Jack Perry have been suspended pending an investigation, but so far AEW has yet to officially confirm that’s the case.
