It was an action packed weekend for the stars of WWE as Money in the Bank aired live from the O2 Arena in London, England. The show featured some big moments such as the return of Drew McIntyre, and Roman Reigns getting pinned for the first time in over three years.
It seems that WWE could be looking to keep the momentum going with Monday Night Raw this week as WWE is advertising Brock Lesnar for the show. PWInsider is reporting that Brock Lesnar is in Maryland, and according to the report the plan is for The Beast Incarnate to build toward a SummerSlam match with Cody Rhodes tonight.
Cody Rhodes was in action at Money in the Bank and he picked up a big win over Dominik Mysterio, but now it appears that his feud with Brock Lesnar will be picking up once again. Rhodes and Lesnar have now faced off twice with each man earning one victory over each other. It’s been rumored for weeks now that WWE is planning for a third bout between Brock Lesnar and Cody to take place at SummerSlam, possibly with a stipulation involved.
Ahead of Raw it’s been confirmed that Rhea Ripley will be defending the Women’s World Championship against Natalya, and more segments will likely be announced for the show sooner than later. Stay tuned.
