It’s always fun to see a surprise return when you watch a wrestling show and last month Carlito returned to WWE programming when he interfered in the Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest match at Backlash in Puerto Rico.
Following the return of the former Intercontinental Champion many fans wondered if we could be seeing more of Carlito in the weeks to come and it looks like that could be the case.
PWInsider Elite is now reporting that the current plan is for Carlito to make his return during the July 7 episode of Friday Night SmackDown from Madison Square Garden.
Recently Great North Wrestling issued a statement saying that Carlito had pulled out of their event on July 15th. The statement also claimed that Carlito told the company he was pulling out of the event because he signed a new deal with WWE and it would be a violation of his contract.
Carlito got a great reaction from the fans at Backlash and his return created a big buzz on social media. It will be interesting to see how the fans react to him when he returns to TV as it seems that his return is happening sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for updates.
