The 2023 WWE Draft has come and gone, and now Raw and SmackDown both have fresh new rosters. Some big moves were made during the draft, but there were several names were weren’t drafted. WWE has confirmed that talents who weren’t drafted are now free agents who are eligible to appear on either show.
Coming out of the WWE Draft the following names are now free agents:
Baron Corbin
Brock Lesnar
Cedric Alexander
Dolph Ziggler
Elias
Mustafa Ali
Omos
Shelton Benjamin
Von Wagner
Xyon Quinn
In the past talents who weren’t drafted ultimately ended up getting signed to a brand, but PWInsider Elite is reporting that won’t be the case this year. It’s being said that the aforementioned talents will remain free agents so that WWE can leave the door open for creative to use them wherever they may be needed in the future.
One way or another it will be interesting to see where the free agents show up in the future considering that they can appear on any show they want at this point in time. Stay tuned for updates.
