People are always making moves in the world of professional wrestling tapings, and some interesting names are in Chicago ahead of the Impact Wrestling TV tapings.
It was recently reported that former Trinity Fatu (formerly known as Naomi in WWE) is expected to be part of the tapings and that she will not just be making a one time appearance.
Now PWInsider is reporting that Mercedes Mone is in Chicago ahead of the tapings. Impact Wrestling sources have denied that the former WrestleMania main eventer will be involved with the TV tapings, so it seems that she may just be in town to support Trinity Fatu.
Mercedes Mone recently dropped the IWGP Women’s Championship to Mayu Iwatani during STARDOM’s All Star Grand Queendom event last weekend. It’s been confirmed that Mone will be at NJPW Resurgence on May 21 where she will compete in a four woman tournament to crown the first ever NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion. Stay tuned for updates.
