There are plenty of talented wrestlers in NXT which means the future is potentially bright for the WWE main roster. You never know when a wrestler could get called up and make an impact on Raw or SmackDown and it looks like WWE officials have high hopes for at least one NXT star.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE sees big things in Von Wagner’s future, and there appears to be some hype that he can develop into a WrestleMania main eventer someday.
“He’s tall, he’s got blond hair, they want him to main event WrestleMania, but you need charisma to get to that level,” Meltzer said.
It takes a lot to get to the main event of WrestleMania, and at this point it remains to be seen whether or not Von Wagner will be able to make that happen at some point in his career.
The WWE Draft is set to kick off next week, but it’s not clear if WWE has any plans to call Von Wagner up to the main roster soon, or if he will be staying in NXT a little while longer.
