WrestleMania is almost here and last week it was confirmed that John Cena will be challenging Austin Theory for the United States Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. It was rumored that Cena could end up facing Logan Paul at WrestleMania, but Logan Paul is currently involved in a feud with Seth Rollins.
However, that doesn’t mean a Logan Paul vs. John Cena match is completely off the table. WrestleVotes recently spoke to GiveMeSport about the potential match and it was noted that all parties involved still want it to happen. It was also noted that it could take place at SummerSlam.
“Logan loved the idea and Cena was totally down it. They’d have made mega money and it’s just a matter of when. They want to tell a good story because they’re megastars, so there’s got to be a reason. The matches is very much on the table, even at a SummerSlam. All parties involved want to do it.”
The 2023 SummerSlam premium live event will take place from Ford Field in Detroit, MI on Saturday, August 5. Stay tuned for more updates on the show as they become available.
