It’s been a big week for the AEW tag team division as new champions were crowned recently on Dynamite. On Wednesday night The Acclaimed defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Gunns and Austin & Colten Gunn managed to win the titles for the first time in their career.
Fightful Select is reporting that both Austin & Colten Gunn recently re-signed with All Elite Wrestling. The exact terms of the deal was not revealed, but it was confirmed that both of them signed multi-year contracts.
It was announced in January of 2020 that Austin Gunn had signed with All Elite Wrestling and Colten Gunn started making appearances on AEW programming later that year.
Recently The Gunns have been involved in a storyline with their father Billy Gunn who is currently aligned with the former champions The Acclaimed. It was recently announced that Orange Cassidy, Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed will team up to take on Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh on Dynamite next week. Stay tuned for updates.
