We’re only hours away from the Royal Rumble and anticipation for the event is at an all time high. There are plenty of open spots in the Royal Rumble matches which likely means we’ll be seeing some surprises tonight.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE brought in NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, Ivy Nile, Indi Hartwell and Zoey Stark for the event. It hasn’t been confirmed that they will be competing tonight, but they are in San Antonio.
Fightful Select is reporting that last year there was a strict decree not to use NXT talent in the Royal Rumble matches, but they haven’t heard if that’s the case this year.
The Royal Rumble is set to take place on Saturday, January 28 and the current card can be seen below.
