When Adam Cole debuted with AEW in 2021 it was seen as a big moment for the All Elite Wrestling. Cole was pushed as one of the top stars in AEW in the months that followed but unfortunately the former NXT Champion has been out of action for months now.
Adam Cole has not wrestled since the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view back in June where he challenged for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in a four way match. Unfortunately for Cole he suffered a concussion during the match which has kept him sidelined.
Dave Meltzer recently shared an update on Adam Cole and he noted that he’s doing much better. However, AEW is being cautious when it comes to Adam Cole and there’s no timetable for his return.
“He’s doing much better. The last I heard is they were being cautious. Don’t have any time frame for a return. With concussions, you can’t predict time frame.”
