It looks like AEW will be making some changes to their look as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that AEW made a major hire this week when the company brought in Michael Mansury as the Senior Vice President and co-Executive Producer. Mansury will work with Tony Khan moving forward and he started at television this week.
Warner Bros. Discovery and Tony Khan have decided to change the look of AEW’s shows and the planned changes are set to go into effect at some point in January.
Mike Mansury previously worked for WWE and he hired on with the company in 2009. In 2016 he was named Vice President of Global Television Production and the belief was that he would replace Kevin Dunn when Vince McMahon left, but Mansury parted ways with WWE in 2020.
One person who worked with Mike Mansury in called him a, “tremendous asset. Was being groomed to be the heir apparent to the Kevin Dunn throne, but moved up too quickly and much like David Sahadi and several others, that’s when Dunn covertly made his life very difficult.”
