WWE has released a number of wrestlers over the last few years, but with all the returns taking place recently there’s been a lot of speculation in regards to who could be brought back. Fightful Select is now reporting that both Bobby Fish and Anthony Greene were backstage at recent NXT live events.
Bobby Fish was released from WWE in 2021, and according to people familiar with the situation he served as a guest coach for NXT. Fish parted ways with AEW a few months ago and has recently worked with Impact Wrestling, but is not locked down to a contract.
Anthony Greene was also released in 2021 and has since worked on the independent scene while also making appearances for AEW. There’s currently no word on their future with WWE but both Fish and Greene are said to be on good terms with the company.
