Recently it’s been rumored that Braun Strowman could be making his way back to WWE, and on Monday night Strowman showed up on Raw and decimated several wrestlers. The Monster Among Men then did a brief backstage interview where he declared that he would be appearing on SmackDown this week.
PWInsider is now reporting that Braun Strowman will be a regular on the SmackDown brand moving forward. It was also noted that current plans call for Strowman to work as a babyface on the blue brand.
Braun Strowman first signed with WWE in 2013 and he was called up to the main roster as a member of The Wyatt Family in 2015. He went on to win the Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship, Money in the Bank, the Greatest Royal Rumble and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Strowman was originally released in June of 2021. He last competed in a WWE ring when he faced Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash in May of 2021. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
