The wrestling landscape has changed dramatically now that there’s a new regime in charge of WWE, and it was recently reported that WWE reached out to an AEW star who is currently under contract.
Dave Meltzer recently shared an update on the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio and he noted that multiple people in AEW have been contacted by WWE. The names of the people who have been contacted are unknown, but it’s being reported that WWE reached out to “a few people.”
PWInsider is reporting that on Wednesday Tony Khan held a meeting with talent before Dynamite where he informed them that AEW’s Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh sent an email to Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan warning them “not to tamper” with AEW talent.
