It was back in May that Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE Monday Night Raw, and they’ve been the talk of the wrestling world ever since. Following the walkout it was announced during the following episode of SmackDown that both stars had been suspended indefinitely.
Since then Sasha Banks has mostly been laying low, but it was announced that The Boss will be appearing at C2E2 in Chicago on August 6th and 7th. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion will be available for autograph signings and photo ops, and it’s interesting to note that she’s being advertised under her real name Mercedes Vernado as opposed to her WWE name Sasha Banks.
Please join us in welcoming our next #C2E2 guest, Mercedes Varnado (Sasha Banks)! Whether you’ve seen her in the ring or as Koska Reeves in The Mandalorian, you are not going to want to miss out on this Photo and Autograph opportunity! It was recently reported that both Sasha Banks and Naomi were removed from WWE’s internal roster. In recent weeks it’s been reported that Sasha has been released from WWE, but the company has neither confirmed nor denied the reports.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
