It’s been a while since fans have seen MJF as he disappeared from TV after cutting a pipe bomb promo on AEW Dynamite following the Double or Nothing pay-per-view. It’s been reported that MJF is unhappy with his contract status in AEW, and it’s not clear when he could be returning at this point.
Wardlow is someone who worked closely with MJF over the last few years, but during an appearance on Casual Conversations with The Wrestling Classic he showed no love for Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
“Honestly, I shouldn’t even give this subject the time of day, and I really don’t care to, but I do understand — people gotta understand, we were together for three years. He was the first three years of my career, he was a big part of my career. So if anybody is allowed to touch on this subject, it probably is me.”
“I’ll just say this, he’s not a good person. He really is a piece of sh*t. It was not enjoyable working with him. He put me through more stress than anything and his behavior inside of the business and outside of the business is unacceptable. But that’s all I’m gonna say about that.”
Wardlow had a big night on Dynamite this week as he faced off against Scorpio Sky in a street fight and he defeated Scorpio Sky to become the new TNT Champion. Stay tuned for more updates on Wardlow and MJF as they become available.
