Last week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw didn’t feature a match in the main event segment, but instead it focused on a pose down. Bobby Lashley and United States Champion Theory faced off in the pose down, and it ended with Theory splashing baby oil in Lashley’s eyes.
Fightful Select reports that originally R-Truth was pitched to be part of the pose down segment on Raw last week. It’s also being reported that several materials were brought to Raw for Truth to use as comedic relief.
WWE has yet to confirm that Bobby Lashley will be challenging Theory for the US Title, but Lashley recently appeared on Raw Talk and made it clear that he wants the belt.
“The kid looks great, he’s been wrestling. He’s been killing it. Then he comes to me. The decisions we make in wrestling and this is just a bad decision for him. It’s not the time… Kid, you have two options: turn away or turn back and bring me the title… I guess if he wants to step up for me, I’ve got a new title to go for… I’d say fully focused on kicking his a** for coming out there and interrupting me while I was talking to the audience.”
