It seems that no one is safe nowadays when it comes to WWE releases. The company has cut ties with some surprising names over the last few years including former Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax and her rival Lana.
Lana’s rivalry with Nia Jax played out on WWE programming for some time and now fans will be able to see them clash once again when they face off at the first ever Wrestling Entertainment Series event on June 4th.
Nia Jax, now billed as Lina Fanene, and Lana, now billed as CJ Perry, will compete in a match to crown the first ever WES Women’s World Champion.
WES is a new wrestling promotion created by former Raw Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain. The first event for the promotion will take place from the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham England and the card can be seen below.
