WWE has released quite a few surprising names in 2021, and fans were shocked when Nia Jax was released from her contract with the company back in November.
Earlier this year Nia Jax faced off against Lana, and at one point she went for a leg drop on the apron. Unfortunately for Nia Jax she came crashing down on to the apron after Lana got out of the way, and she reacted to the pain by screaming “my hole!”
During a recent Q&A session on Instagram the former Raw Women’s Champion was asked about the backstage reaction to the line, and she had the following response: “Walked back into gorilla and everyone was hysterically laughing.”
When asked about why she was released she responded with, “I was told budget cuts.” Previously Nia Jax had said that it’s unlikely she will ever wrestle again, but during the Q&A session she said “never say never,” when asked about a possible return to the ring.
