Seth Rollins has feuded with some of the biggest names in the business, and throughout the course of his career he’s clashed with Bray Wyatt on more than a few occasions. Last month WWE sent a shockwave throughout the wrestling world when the company announced that Bray Wyatt had been released from his contract, and now fans are waiting to see what he’s going to do next.
During a recent interview with Metro UK Seth Rollins talked about Wyatt’s release, and he noted that while he didn’t draw inspiration from Wyatt’s character he does miss the former WWE star.
“Bray Wyatt. God, I miss him. But I wouldn’t say that I drew much inspiration from him. He was way out there with the stuff he wanted to do character wise, and it worked for him. For me, not so much. That’s not really where I sit when it comes to characters in wrestling. but it worked well for him.”
Seth Rollins did go on to say that when it comes to his character Triple H is someone that he draws inspiration from.
“Triple H is definitely someone that my character draws inspiration from. Obviously he played a major role in the beginnings of my character and what it’s become. But if you look at his career, his character always did the same thing, it evolved very naturally over the years. He was able to teeter back and forth to both ends of the spectrum.”
Seth Rollins will face Edge at SummerSlam on Saturday, August 21. Stay tuned for updates.
