Fans have been seeing some big returns and debuts on WWE programming over the last few weeks, and it looks like one of WWE’s top stars will be returning tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.
PWInsider is now reporting that former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks will be returning to the blue brand tonight. There’s currently no word on what her role will be on the show, but multiple sources have confirmed she will be appearing on SmackDown.
Sasha Banks last competed when she dropped the SmackDown Women’s Title to Bianca Belair in the main event of WrestleMania 37 – Night One.
It’s hasn’t been confirmed but the belief among many is that Banks was taking time off to film material as her Star Wars character Koska Reeves for a future Disney+ series.
