The wrestling world has been talking an awful lot about CM Punk and Daniel Bryan as of late because it’s rumored that Punk is in talks with AEW, and that Bryan is already locked in with the company.
During a recent appearance on Wrestling Observer Radio AEW World Champion Kenny Omega commented on the possibility of both men joining the company, and he played it cool while saying that he could only speak on possibilities.
“Honesty, at this point in time, [Tony Khan is] the only one with an idea. He’s been tight-lipped and I prefer it that way. I don’t want anything to slip that shouldn’t be slipping either. All I can speak on are the possibilities.”
Omega continued to talk about the possibilities, and he made it a point to express his enthusiasm in regards to possibly facing off against Daniel Bryan and CM Punk.
“It’s cool for me to think I am going to get in the ring with them possibly. Because they were so prominent in WWE…for me, as exciting as the wrestling part is, the ability to tell a story is more exciting for me.”
At this point all parties have remained quiet on any potential deals, but stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
