This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the special Road Rager edition of the show, and it was rumored that former WWE star Aleister Black was backstage in Miami for the event.
At one point during the show Arn Anderson made his way to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone, and he got on the mic and said that it’s great to be in Miami, then the lights went out. When the lights came back on Aleister Black was standing in the corner, and he hit Arn Anderson with Black Mass.
Cody Rhodes then appeared and looked on in shock, and Black hit Cody with Black Mass as well. The commentators referred to him as Tommy End at first, but then Excalibur declared that is Malakai Black. It’s worth noting that the lights also went out earlier in the night during Cody Rhodes’ match.
The fans chanted “Tommy” as he exited the arena. AEW’s Twitter account has also seemingly confirmed that he will be called Malakai Black as well.
HOLY S**T … Malakai Black ( @TommyEnd) has arrived in @AEW!
