Mickie James made her return to WWE a few years ago, and in 2017 she found herself wrapped up in a feud with Alexa Bliss. Throughout the feud Mickie James was continuously made fun of for her age, and it appears that at least one segment took things too far for the former WWE Women’s Champion.
James recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet, and she revealed that she was offended when she had to participate in a segment where was gifted a walker.
”I could never wrap my head around and find it funny that I’m given a walker [on RAW in 2017]. It’s bullsh*t and it’s not funny. I was offended and I said that I was offended. But I am a professional, and as a pro you go, ‘Fine and let’s see what happens.’ 9 times out of 10 I was right, but it’s already happened. I had to do it just to prove a point. I feel like you should trust me enough, at this point, to know I am not an idiot. I am looking at it through the lens of our audience and where they’re at now.”
Mickie James was released from her WWE contract back in April, and she became a hot topic on social media after she revealed the company sent her belongings to her in a trash bag. She recently announced that she will be returning to the ring at the upcoming NWA 73rd Anniversary Show.
