They say that anything can happen in the WWE, and unfortunately WWE Superstars suffer injuries from time to time. On Sunday night at WrestleMania Backlash The Miz faced off against Damian Priest in a Zombie Lumberjack Match, and The Miz was devoured by zombies after he was defeated by Priest.
It was later reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that The Miz suffered a torn ACL during his match with Damian Priest at WrestleMania Backlash.
At this point the severity of the tear has not been confirmed, but the hope is that Miz only suffered a partial tear. If it is determined to be a full tear then The Miz would need surgery, and he could be out of action for 7 to 9 months.
It’s believed that the injury occurred when Damian Priest landed on Miz’s legs after a spinning kick.
PWInsider reports that the word going around backstage at Raw on Monday was that Miz will be getting checked out this week.
Miz did not appear on last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
