John Cena has never been alone on a video game cover, so word is that he was due for one. With 2k15 set to be released on 4 different consoles the feeling is that they have a big opportunity to pull in some big numbers and Cena they feel is their most recognizable star. Even fans that dislike Cena will buy the game anyway was their stance.
Daniel Bryan was the other superstar in consideration for the cover. They decided to go with Cena long before Bryan’s injury and word is that they decided to go with Cena even before they made the decision to put the title on Bryan at WrestleMania XXX.
