Between Raw, SmackDown, NXT and NXT UK there are quite a few titles underneath the WWE umbrella, and it looks like another championship is set to be added to the mix.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter WWE is currently planning to introduce NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles. Currently the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles can be defended on Raw, SmackDown or NXT.
This week on NXT Nia Jax and Baszler defended the belts against Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai and the match ended in controversy after Adam Pearce got involved.
Later in the show Pearce argued with William Regal, and Regal revealed that next week he will be making an announcement that will change the landscape of NXT.
