There are quite a few interesting personalities in the professional wrestling business, but from time to time certain names don’t always get along.
Diamond Dallas Page and Ric Flair were once two of WCW’s biggest names, but it appears that they didn’t always get along.
DDP recently opened up about his relationship with Ric Flair during an episode of Talk Is Jericho, and he noted that after he watched Ric Flair’s retirement celebration he made an effort to fix things with Flair when he saw him at an autograph signing.
“We walk off to the side and I say, ‘You know, Naitch, I know over the years that me and you have had a little heat together.’ He’s like, ‘Oh, Diamond, don’t worry about that.’ I’m like, ‘Naitch, I’m not worried about it. Bro, I wanna fix it.’”
“I said, ‘I don’t know what happened, I know that I’ve said some s***, you’ve said some s***.’ I go, ‘The last thing I wanna do is be in this spot.’ I said, ‘I love The Nature Boy, man, and I would love to just start all over again.’”
According to DDP he offered Flair a handshake, but instead Flair embraced him with a hug, then a kiss on the forehead and said, “God bless you.”
