The Road Warriors were considered to be one of the greatest teams in the history of professional wrestling, and they won championships all over the world. They wrestled their last match in 2003, and Hawk passed away a few months later. The team was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
Animal last appeared on WWE programming when he participated in a segment during the Raw 1000 episode.
Our sincerest condolences go out to his family, friends and fans.
