Over the last few months WWE has been producing cinematic matches here and there due to the coronavirus pandemic, and it looks like we’ll be seeing another one on Sunday.
Bray Wyatt is set to face off against Braun Strowman in a Wyatt Swamp Fight at Extreme Rules, and Wrestling Inc. reports that WWE filmed the match roughly two hours outside of Orlando.
It’s being said that filming for the match took between 6 to 7 hours, and multiple takes were done in order to get different angles for editing purposes.
The finish is being compared to something like Jason in Friday the 13th, or a horror movie where someone gets taken and disappears. The person who gets taken will return later to continue the feud.
Bray Wyatt reportedly had many ideas, and made adjustments to make them work. It’s being said that Wyatt’s mind was always working on how to get to the next step.
Vince McMahon was not involved, and his lack of involvement will be noticeable when fans see the difference in the final cut of this cinematic match compared to other cinematic matches WWE has aired in the past.
