It’s no big secret that there are some WWE Superstars on the roster who don’t want to be part of the company anymore, and The Revival reportedly requested to be released multiple times.
WWE confirmed that Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson were released today when the company issued the following statement:
“Effective today, Friday April 10, 2020, WWE and The Revival have agreed on their immediate release from WWE. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com reports that the duo requested to be released back in January for the second time in two years.
It’s also being reported that there is no 90 day no compete clause, so they’re free to go wherever they like.
It’s believed that Dawson’s contract was either up, or about to be up and that WWE had originally added time to Wilder’s deal due to the time he missed because of injury.
The duo haven’t appeared on TV in months and reportedly turned down new five year contracts with WWE.
