WrestleMania 36 is set to air on the WWE Network this weekend, but over the last few weeks the card has gone through some major changes due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Originally Andrade was set to team with Angel Garza to challenge The Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Titles, but Andrade was pulled from the show because of a rib injury, and it was announced that NXT star Austin Theory will be his replacement.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that right now it’s unclear if Theory will remain in the stable with Angel Garza, Andrade and Zelina Vega.
The rule is that NXT talents can’t get called up on a whim, but due to the unique situation that rule was thrown out.
It’s also being reported that Paul Heyman picked Theory to be the replacement for Andrade.
