For months Rusev was involved in one of the top storylines on Monday Night Raw when he was feuding with Bobby Lashley, but The Bulgarian Brute hasn’t been used on a regular basis since the storyline fizzled out.
However, Rusev is still keeping busy and he recently decided to pledge $20,000 to help people who have been affected by the coronavirus.
The former United States Champion recently took to Twitter to say that he’s donating the money to extended members of the WWE family who are currently sitting at home without pay when he posted the following:
“In Bulgaria we say “ It’s not a lot but it’s from the heart” I pledge 20,000$ to any of my WWE extended family that are sitting at home without income. WE can’t do it without y’all. Production, security, etc. LOVE YALL.”
