Matt Hardy’s WWE contract expired on March 1st, and he revealed his next move to the world when he made his AEW debut on last week’s episode of Dynamite.
Since parting ways with WWE Matt Hardy has openly been talking about his reasons for leaving the company, and he’s said that he left because he was more concerned with how he would be used going forward as opposed to how much he would be paid.
Hardy has also talked openly about Vince McMahon’s reaction to the Ultimate Deletion and a fan on Twitter recently asked Matt for his honest opinion of Vince McMahon.
When asked how he really feels about Vince McMahon, Matt Hardy posted the following:
“Yes. I have great respect for Vince & will always be grateful for the opportunities he gave me. I had to leave because we didn’t share the same visions for my future. My decision to leave was ultimately based on business & to ensure my own happiness going forward.”
