After Matt Hardy’s WWE contract expired on March 1st everyone was talking about his next move, and Matt made a statement when he appeared on AEW Dynamite last week.
Matt Hardy is now set to team up with The Elite to face The Inner Circle in the Blood and Guts match, and AEW is advertising a face to face confrontation between Matt and Chris Jericho on Wednesday.
It seems that Matt is excited about the creative freedom that he’ll have in AEW, and it seems that Matt could potentially end up working elsewhere as well.
A fan noted on Twitter that they want to see Matt in NJPW, and Hardy confirmed that his contract would allow that when he posted the following:
“My contract would allow that. Truth be told, I’d love the opportunity to perform on a NJPW WrestleKingdom show in some capacity.”
