WrestleMania 30 was a night to remember, but CM Punk was noticeably absent from the card. A few months before the big event Punk decided to part ways with the company, but it looks like he was originally scheduled to compete in one of the top matches on the card.
Punk noted in an Instagram story that he was doing some cleaning, and he found some of the bone chips that were removed from his elbow in 2010. He also found a booking sheet for WrestleMania 30.
It looked like WWE was setting up a CM Punk vs. Triple H match, and Punk shared the booking sheet showing that as of 1/20/14 that was the plan.
Daniel Bryan went on to defeat Triple H, and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event, but the sheet also confirms that original plans called for Daniel Bryan to face Sheamus at the show, and for Roman Reigns to challenge Dean Ambrose for the US Title.
You can check out an early version of the card below.
