The NXT roster is a good place to be for up and coming stars in the professional wrestling business, but the roster just got a little bit smaller. WrestlingInc reports that NXT star HoHo Lun has been released from his contract.
HoHo Lun signed with WWE in 2016, and he was a participant in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament last year. He defeated Ariya Daivari in the first round of the CWC, but he was later eliminated by Noam Dar in the second round. He made his last appearance for NXT at the TV tapings in June where he faced off against The Velveteen Dream.
Brie Bella retired from in ring competition after WrestleMania 32 so that she could focus on getting pregnant, and she recently gave birth to a baby girl.
But wrestling fans know that it’s hard for wrestlers to stay away from the business, and Brie Bella recently announced at Comic Con that she’s eyeing a return to the ring in 2018.
