Entrance music is essential in the world of professional wrestling because the right entrance song can make or break a WWE Superstar. Sometimes WWE Superstars don’t start out with the perfect entrance song and it takes a few attempts to get it right. Other times the right entrance song just gets old after a while and it needs to be switched out.
There are a few WWE Superstars on the roster that could use a fresh new theme, and these are just a few of the stars we would like to see get some new entrance music.
#5 – Ryback
Ryback has been using the same entrance music for a few years now. His song is a perfect fit for him when he’s a face, but Ryback seems to be turning heel once again.
Last time Ryback turned heel WWE altered his song to make it less crowd friendly. They took out the part where he says “Feed me more!” at the beginning, but that’s just not going to be enough this time around.
If WWE really wants to establish Ryback as a legitimate heel some new entrance music is needed. Ryback recently switched up his ring gear and a new song to match could go a long way when it comes to making Ryback feel fresh again.
#4 – Cesaro
How is Cesaro’s blaring siren entrance music still a thing in 2016? People have been talking about how obnoxious it is for years and Cesaro himself has even said it’s awful.
Sure, the music grabs your attention, but it grabs it in the worst way possible. Cesaro is an up and comer and he needs to get more eyes on him as he rises through the ranks of WWE. But this song runs the risk of giving fans a bad impression of this impressive WWE Superstar.
When Cesaro returns from injury it would be nice to see him return with a new entrance song as well.
#3 – Dolph Ziggler
Let’s just say this first, Dolph’s entrance music rules, it’s just time for a change. Dolph has been using this song for a long time now and there’s no better time than the present to freshen things up.
Ziggler likes to incorporate ’80s hair metal themes into his ring gear from time to time and it’s a known fact that he’s a big fan of rock and roll. Ziggler has been pushing the rock star look for the past few years and it would be nice to see him get an entrance song that backs up the theme a little bit more.
Back in 2013 Dolph Ziggler told JourneyOfAFrontman.com that he talked to the band Steel Panther about possibly creating entrance music for him.
“It’s not really up to me right now, but man, that would be pretty sweet if that happened. I talked to a couple of the guys on Twitter and they would love to be a part of something with the music. One way or another, maybe down the line, we can look into it. It would be great.” Ziggler said.
Obviously that didn’t happen and for those of you that aren’t familiar with Steel Panther, all you need to know is that they are very far from PG. But something more appropriate for all ages in the vein of Steel Panther could be a perfect fit for Dolph.
#2 – The League Of Nations
The entrance music that the League of Nations uses is a little underwhelming to say the least. There’s just nothing memorable about it and it doesn’t grab your attention when you hear it. Even if you played the song for fans who tune in to Raw every week, they probably wouldn’t be able to tell you what it is.
The League of Nations is a pretty intense group and they need an intense entrance song to match. As of right now the one they’re using sounds like it was pulled directly from the CAW files of the WWE 2K series.
#1 – Roman Reigns
Sorry guys, but it’s time. It’s time to put the old Shield entrance music to rest. Roman Reigns has been using the same song since he debuted with The Shield and it’s time to let the music go already.
Roman has had a tough time getting over the with the fans these past few years and using The Shield’s old entrance song isn’t doing him any favors. The longer WWE continues to allow him to use this music, the longer fans will keep complaining that Roman hasn’t evolved since The Shield broke up.
Roman needs to move forward with his career, but his current entrance song keeps reminding fans of his past. Fans have complained that Roman Reigns has been miscast and it’s hard to argue with that mentality because even his entrance music feels out of place at this point.
Besides, the music needs to go away for a while so that we’ll actually be excited to hear it when The Shield’s inevitable reunion goes down. You know it’s coming eventually.
