5 Unforgettable Moments Brought To You By Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon is the prodigal son of WWE and although it’s been a few years since he’s appeared on WWE programming we haven’t forgotten about him at all. Shane made a huge impression on wrestling fans during his time as a performer on screen and he gave us many moments that completely shocked us. If there was one guy willing to do anything to entertain the fans, it was Shane McMahon. There are many unforgettable moments brought to us by this man but we listed  of our favorites here.

What’s your favorite Shane McMahon moment?

#5 – Shane McMahon Goes Coast To Coast On Vince

Vince McMahon and Shane had an epic rivalry. Really though, what’s not to love about a father beating up his son and vice versa? This feud was great on the psychological side of things but it was also great when it came to physical confrontations. At WrestleMania X-7 Vince and Shane tore the house down as father and son attempted to tear each other apart. There were many highlights in this match but one of the most memorable has to be Shane going coast to coast and kicking a trash can in his dad’s face.

#4 – Shane McMahon Falls From The Sky

As an in ring performer Shane McMahon quickly gained himself a reputation of someone who was willing to do absolutely anything to entertain the fans. He proved it time and time again and when he faced Steve Blackman at SummerSlam he shocked us all. Shane attempted to get away from Steve by climbing the Titantron. Unfortunately for Shane, Steve followed him and sent him all the way back to the ground.

#3 – Shane Buys WCW

The fact that WWE purchased WCW in the first place was an unforgettable moment but you can always count on a McMahon to take it to the next level. As Vince was gloating about conquering his enemy on the go home show to WrestleMania X-7, Shane managed to steal WCW from right under his nose. Having Raw and Nitro telecast on the same show was groundbreaking but seeing Shane talk to Vince who was on Raw from the WCW Nitro broadcast was something we never could have imagined would happen.

#2 – Shane Goes Through Through The Glass

Like we’ve already mentioned in this article, Shane McMahon was willing to put his body on the line every time he stepped in the ring and this match just proved it once again. As if the match wasn’t brutal enough already Shane and Kurt planned a spot where Kurt would throw Shane through a glass part of the set. The only problem was that the glass didn’t break. After another attempt the glass still didn’t break. Instead of calling it a day and moving on, Shane insisted that they make the spot work and told Kurt to keep trying. Eventually he got him through and then took him to the other side and went through the whole process again. A very painful process indeed.

#1 – Shane Hits An Elbow Drop Off The Titantron

Shane McMahon is certainly no stranger to taking leaps off the Titantron and this one is as memorable as they come. After having a heated battle with The Big Show, Shane took it upon himself to climb up the Titantron and then jump down hitting an elbow drop on his opponent below. There have been many great elbow drops in WWE history but this one has to be a strong contender for best elbow drop ever.
