5 Current WWE Finishers That Get The Job Done

The finisher. It’s the maneuver that a superstar uses to put his opponent in the loss column. Whether it be a submission or a knockout blow, these finishers are currently some of the best ones on the main WWE roster. The future is bright with these new stars really making a name for themselves.

DEAN AMBROSE – DIRTY DEEDS

Dean Ambrose had a lot to live up to when he was finally brought to the main WWE roster. He was quite an underground legend on the independent scene. When he was brought up as a member of The Shield he knew he had to make an impact. Ambrose did just that, alongside his running mates Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Ambrose would be the first of the three to reach singles gold and he did it with Dirty Deeds. When sold correctly the finisher looks lethal. Just ask Kofi.

SETH ROLLINS – CURB STOMP

Seth Rollins shook the wrestling world to the core when he turned his back on Ambrose and Reigns. The chair shots were one thing but when he delivered a Curb Stomp to Ambrose on the chair it was the final dagger to the heart of The Shield. Rollins can fly with the best of them in the WWE, which is why his finisher is so brutal. Instead of going for a pretty, high flying, glorious finisher, he would rather just crush your skull into the mat.

BRAY WYATT – SISTER ABIGAIL

Bray Wyatt is the most intriguing character to storm onto the pro wrestling scene in a long time. His promos are some of the best mic work the industry has seen in a long time. Everyone knows that Bray can hold his own on the mic but he can more than handle his own in the ring as well. He has a unique yet brutal style and that is all rolled into his finisher Sister Abigail. It starts with a kiss to the forehead and ends with his opponent looking up to the rafters. This move became even more unique when he was able to hit Rey Mysterio with it while going full speed ahead.

WADE BARRETT – BULL HAMMER

Wade Barrett has a no-nonsense ring style so his finisher is just the exclamation point on top of that. The Bull Hammer is nothing but a straight elbow to the mush.  It is a true to form knockout blow. When you see an opponent eat his elbow, you just know that the match is only a 3 count away from being over. When he turns his elbow pad inside out, it’s all bad news from there….

ROMAN REIGNS – SPEAR

Roman Reigns is being polished to become the next big thing in WWE. His Superman punch and boot to the face on the apron are some pretty impressive moves but his Spear is truly dominating. Not just anyone can pull of a good looking Spear but Reigns does it flawlessly. If Reigns is destined for greatness, his Spear will be what takes him there.

HONORABLE MENTION:

STARDUST – DIAMOND DUST

Not much is known about this intergalactic warrior. The only thing we do know is that his unorthodox ring style looks like it will translate to quite a career. Just ask Curtis Axel what StarDust is all about. When Cody…uh I mean StarDust hit Diamond Dust out of the corner on Axel, there was no chance he was kicking out.
