The Royal Rumble is one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year as it marks the beginning of WrestleMania season. This year the annual Royal Rumble premium live event is set to air live from Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis, and it looks like WWE has already decided on a location for the Royal Rumble in 2026.
PWInsider is reporting that multiple sources have confirmed the 2026 Royal Rumble will take place from Saudi Arabia. The deal for the Royal Rumble is reportedly locked in and an official announcement regarding the location could be made as soon Raw premieres on Netflix on Monday.
The Royal Rumble will be the biggest WWE event in Saudi Arabia so far, and the belief is that it opens the door for other “top five” WWE events, including WrestleMania, to emanate from Saudi Arabia in the future. WWE’s current deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to run through 2028.
With the exception of the inaugural Royal Rumble which took place from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1988, the 2026 Royal Rumble will be the only other time that the event has emanated from a location outside of the United States.
