14 years ago on November 18th Team WWE(F) were in for the fight of their lives as they attempted to end the WCW/ECW alliance once and for all. The fate of the WWE was in question for several months when Vince McMahon finally agreed to a “winner take all” Survivor Series match with his ownership of the WWE on the line.
Team WWE(F) was made up of The Rock, The Undertaker, Kane, Chris Jericho and Big Show while Team Alliance was made up of Steve Austin, Booker T, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam and Shane McMahon. There were a lot of twists and turns along the way but in the end the ownership rights ended up right where they belonged.
The invasion storyline has seen its fair share of criticism over the years, but this Survivor Series match was certainly one to remember. Check out a clip in the video above.
