On November 13th, 2015 it will be 10 years since we lost the great Eddie Guerrero at the age of 38. But it was on this date, November 8th, 2005 that Guerrero wrestled his last match against Ken Kennedy at a SmackDown taping in Indianapolis, Indiana. Five days later Eddie Guerrero was found unconscious in his hotel room at the Marriot City Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The match would air on the November 11th episode of SmackDown and the great thing about his last match is that it’s a quick showcase of everything that made Eddie so special. He oozes personality and charisma from bell to bell and even manages to pull a fast one on Ken Kennedy. It’s easy to see just by looking at him that he’s having the time of his life.
Losing Eddie Guerrero was a huge blow to the wrestling world but it’s matches like this that remind us why we were so lucky to have him in the first place. You can check out the match in its entirety in the clip above.
