On Tuesday night Shane McMahon held a backstage meeting and he announced that Paige had been relieved of her duties as General Manager.
The McMahons have taken over Raw and SmackDown Live, but according to Shane, Paige isn’t going anywhere she’s just taking on a different role.
After Shane made his big announcement, the Superstars of SmackDown Live chanted “thank you Paige” but there’s at least one member of the roster who isn’t sad to see her go.
Last night Zelina Vega took to Twitter to rip on Paige for losing her SmackDown GM job, and she also took a shot at her for not playing herself in the film “Fighting With My Family.”
Zelina Vega plays AJ Lee in the film which is set to hit theaters in February.
Aww.. @RealPaigeWWE soooo sorry to hear you aren’t @WWE #SDLive general manager anymore.. I mean, you couldn’t even make it playing yourself in your own movie so, I didn’t exactly have high hopes for you. It’s okay though! I make the movie #FightingWithMyFamily great 😉
