ric flair

Ric Flair is a living legend. He’s a 16 time World Champion and his name is synonymous with professional wrestling. It was reported a few months ago that WWE was planning to unveil a Ric Flair statue at WrestleMania Axxess this year, and on Thursday night the bronze statue was finally revealed.

The statue was created by New York City-based sculptor Karen Atta, who has also happens to be the person who constructed statues of Andre The Giant, Dusty Rhodes, Bruno Sammartino and The Ultimate Warrior.

This Sunday WrestleMania 33 will ironically be taking place from the same stadium where Ric Flair wrestled Shawn Michaels in his retirement match at WrestleMania 24. So it only seems fitting that the Ric Flair statue was unveiled in Orlando.

Eva Marie hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since August of 2016 after she was suspended for violating the WWE wellness policy. Following her suspension, Eva Marie started focusing on projects in Hollywood, and it was recently reported that she will be parting ways with WWE when he contract expires.

Eva Marie continues to promote her projects outside of WWE, as she posted the following on Instagram:

“Excellent series of meetings today with our partners at #WME and #TheGarciaCompanies! It’s beyond motivating to work along side some of the planets greatest minds in entertainment. Ironing out the details on some very exciting future projects and partnerships! And as always, planning and innovating for the future.”
