There’s never a good time to be injured when you’re a WWE Superstar, and one of WWE’s longest reigning champions is currently out of action.

WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne was set to appear at Destiny Wrestling events this weekend, but he’s been pulled from the shows. The promotion posted the following announcement on Facebook claiming he’s injured:

“UPDATE – due to a recent injury
Pete Dunne will not be able to make it to this weekends tour in Canada. We apologize to everyone for any inconvenience but the show must go on and we are happy to announce that UK stars Tyler Bate & Trent Seven will be coming to represent British Strong Style!

As this point Pete Dunne has been United Kingdom Champion for over 500 days.

There’s currently no word on the severity of the injury or how long he might be out of action.
