WWE kept Cena off Raw this week in hopes that they could get people to tune into Main Event to see what he had to say. WWE was attempting to raise the profile of Main Event with John Cena’s appearance and they’re motivated to get more WWE Network subscribers. The company is currently pushing to get 1 million subscribers and they hoped putting Cena on Main Event would get them a few more.
