WWE NXT Takeover Results 5/29/2014
Adam Rose vs. Camacho
Rose drops Camacho in the corner and hits the Party Foul for the win.
Winner: Adam Rose
– The Rosebuds come back out and Rose gets back into party mode. The Rosebuds carry Rose to the back as we see Regal, Phillips and Saxton dancing to the music. Phillips talks about Zayn vs. Breeze and we get a video package on Zayn.
– We go to the ring and Eden informs us that Tyler Breeze has entered the building.
WWE NXT Tag Team Title Match: Kalisto and El Local vs. The Ascension
Kalisto nails Konnor but gets thrown out of the ring. Viktor nails a STO on Local. Konnor tags in. They hit Fall of Man and Konnor covers Local for the win.
Winners: The Ascension
– We see Sami Zayn backstage warming up. We also see Tyler Breeze looking at himself in the mirror. They take us to a video package on Breeze.
#1 Contender’s Match: Sami Zayn vs. Tyler Breeze
Sami runs the ropes and leaps out onto Breeze, knocking his head on the steel ramp. Fans chant “holy shit” and “ole!” now. Sami brings Breeze back in the ring but misses a Helluva Kick in the corner. It appears Sami got hit with an accidental low blow. Breeze nails the Beauty Shot for the win.
Winner and New #1 Contender: Tyler Breeze
– After the match, we go to replays. Breeze celebrates and takes some selfies.
– We go back to the announcers for more hype on tonight’s show. We see Bret Hart backstage talking to Kidd and Natalya.
Lana and Rusev come out only to get interrupted by Mojo Rawley. Rusev destroys Rawley and they leave.
– We see Ric Flair and Charlotte backstage walking to the ring. We get a video package for the match.
– We see actor Kris Kristofferson in the crowd. His son Jody is a WWE NXT talent.
Paige comes out and cuts a promo putting over NXT.
Vacant NXT Women’s Title Match: Charlotte vs. Natalya
Natalya rolls through and goes for a Sharpshooter but Charlotte kicks her off. Charlotte hits Bow Down to the Queen for the win and the title.
Winner and New WWE NXT Women’s Champion: Charlotte
After the match Ric Flair, Charlotte, Bret Hart and Natalya all celebrate in the ring.
WWE NXT Title Match: Tyson Kidd vs. Adrian Neville
Kidd knocks Neville from the top. Neville runs back up and launches Kidd across the ring. Neville goes back up and nails Red Arrow for the win.
Winner: Adrian Neville
